Green Green was a romantic comedy anime series that aired on TV Kanagawa in Japan in 2003. The show starred a talented voice cast including Hiroshi Kamiya, Kana Ueda, Jin Domon, Sara Nakayama, Eriko Fujimaki, Bryce Papenbrook, Cindy Robinson, Ezra Weisz, Mari Devon, Philece Sampler, Samantha Reynolds, Sandy Fox, Grant George, Neil Kaplan, and Peter Doyle.

Set in a co-educational boarding school for high school students, the show followed the lives of two groups of students: the all-male Yamanobe High School and the co-ed all-female St. Blossom Academy. The students at the Yamanobe High School, a rural school that is set to be merged with another school, have little interaction with the opposite sex due to their isolated location.

When a group of female students from St. Blossom Academy visit Yamanobe for a week-long exchange program, the entire school is thrown into a flurry of emotions and activities. The boys find themselves enraptured by the new female students, while the girls are initially uncomfortable with the all-male environment. However, over the course of the week, the two groups of students begin to get to know each other better and form romantic attachments.

The show features plenty of comedic moments as the characters clumsily navigate their newfound romantic interests. The student council members of each school also play a significant role in the storyline, with their unique personalities often leading to entertaining situations. The show also explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the importance of being true to oneself.

The voice cast for the show did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. Hiroshi Kamiya, known for his work in other popular anime such as Attack on Titan and Haikyuu!!, delivered a standout performance as the protagonist, Yuusuke Takasaki. Kana Ueda, who provided the voice of female lead Midori Chitose, was equally impressive. The chemistry between the two main characters was palpable, making for a compelling and engaging story.

Fans of the series praised the show for its nostalgic, slice-of-life feel, and its relatable characters. The animation style was praised for its vibrant colors and distinct character designs. The opening theme song, "Guri Guri" by Jun Fukuyama, was a fan favorite and set the tone for the show perfectly.

All in all, Green Green was an enjoyable, lighthearted romantic-comedy anime series that fans of the genre are sure to love. Its charming characters, engaging storyline, and talented voice cast made for an entertaining watch that has stood the test of time.
