Ep 2. Lisa's Jam Session

Oliver and Lisa are known for their unusual hobbies and interests, and in Season 3 Episode 2 of Green Acres, titled "Lisa's Jam Session," Lisa takes up a new passion: music.

Lisa has always been musically inclined and has a natural talent for it, so when she discovers an old guitar in the attic of their house, she decides to take up playing it. However, her enthusiasm for the instrument is met with some skepticism from Oliver, who thinks it's just another one of Lisa's fleeting interests.

Despite Oliver's misgivings, Lisa throws herself into learning how to play the guitar and starts to practice obsessively, much to Oliver's annoyance. Her playing is not very good at first, but she persists in practicing and improving, often at the expense of Oliver's peace and quiet.

Meanwhile, the town of Hooterville is preparing for its annual Harvest Festival, an event that features a talent show where residents can show off their skills. Lisa sees this as the perfect opportunity to showcase her new talent and enters the competition.

However, Lisa's enthusiasm for the event is not shared by Oliver, who doesn't think it's a good idea for her to perform in front of so many people. Oliver's misgivings about the talent show only intensify when he sees the competition -- all of the other acts are professional musicians who have been playing for years, and Lisa's amateur playing pales in comparison.

Despite Oliver's worries, Lisa is undeterred and continues to practice and prepare for the talent show. She enlists the help of Eb, who is an accomplished musician himself and teaches her how to play properly.

As the day of the talent show approaches, Lisa becomes increasingly nervous about her performance. However, she is determined to do her best, and when the time comes, she takes the stage and delivers a heartfelt performance that wows the crowd.

Oliver is surprised and touched by Lisa's talent and newfound passion for music, and he realizes that he was wrong to doubt her. He apologizes for his lack of faith in her and tells her how proud he is of her.

In the end, Lisa's new hobby brings her and Oliver closer together and gives her a newfound sense of confidence and purpose. The episode ends with Lisa playing her guitar on the porch of their house, with Oliver by her side, enjoying the beautiful music she is making.
