Ep 5. South Lanarkshire: Metal Sculptural Home

In this episode of Grand Designs, host Kevin McCloud travels to South Lanarkshire in Scotland where a husband and wife team have enlisted the help of architect Stuart Archer to design their unique and innovative home. Inspired by the surrounding landscape, they choose natural materials and earthy colours to create a warm and welcoming space inside the otherwise industrial metal structure.

Throughout the episode, Kevin McCloud observes as the owners navigate the challenges of building their unique and visionary home. He also gets to know the couple and their motivations for creating this one-of-a-kind space. As the build progresses, tensions rise and the couple is faced with unexpected setbacks that threaten to compromise their vision.
