Ep 5. Valentine's Day

As popular culture suggests, Valentine's Day is a day of love. Among Grand Army students, love comes in various forms, relationships, crushes, and heartbreaks. In this episode, we witness the lives of several students on Valentine's day as they navigate their feelings towards their significant others or a moment of love that would change their lives.

Joey Del Marco has a girlfriend but is having difficulty in his relationship. He is distant from his girlfriend and cannot connect with her emotionally, though he feels he loves her. Meanwhile, Joey's father is trying to set him up with a family friend's daughter. Joey is frustrated by his father's attempts to control his love life, after Joys's dad's successful business trips in the fashion industry. Joey tries his best to make Valentine's day special for his girlfriend, but things are not going to plan.

Sid Pakam is head over heels for the new transfer student, Dominique. He goes to great lengths to impress her, including composing sonnets, writing love letters, and sending her flowers. However, he is not the only one trying to capture her attention. Siddharth's rivals make him feel insecure about his abilities. In the end, Dominique has a surprise for him, giving Sid a moment of joy.

Ms. Sabine and Mr. Mehan, the two most popular teachers in Grand Army, are handling their emotions in a professional way and via student-teacher relationships. On Valentine's day, Ms. Sabine is giving a lesson on love poetry, while simultaneously trying to deal with personal issues related to her own relationships. Likewise, Mr. Mehan is struggling to navigate his relationship with his ex-partner's new boyfriend. These two are just the surface of the most significant couple's drama in this episode.

Meerada, who is facing a caste-based issue and barely holding on to her education, accompanies Leila to a party on the rooftop with Yasmin. As the night progresses, Meerada felt like her opinion was not heard by some of her peers. She speaks up for herself and surprises all her friends. Meanwhile, Leila and Raja's relationship becomes stronger, and Yasmin is feeling left out as her friends prioritize their relationship. Yasmin finds a solution to solve her problems and tries to convey her views.
