In Gotham season 5 episode 6 titled "13 Stitches," the city is still recovering from the chaos caused by Jeremiah’s bombs. As the dust settles, Gordon and Bullock are tasked with tracking down a group of escaped convicts who are on a spree of violent robberies. They soon discover that the leader of the group is none other than one of the inmates who helped Jeremiah escape from Arkham.
Meanwhile, Bruce is still struggling with his guilt over not being able to prevent the destruction caused by Jeremiah. He turns to an unexpected source for help - Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman). Together, they embark on a dangerous mission to stop a group of thieves who have been terrorizing the city.
As their paths cross, Gordon and Bullock find themselves caught in the middle of Bruce and Selina’s mission. With tensions high and danger lurking around every corner, the two pairs must work together to bring the city back to some semblance of order.
As the episode progresses, we see more of Selina’s backstory and her motivations for helping Bruce. We also get a glimpse into the inner workings of the group of thieves they are trying to stop, and the sinister mastermind behind their crimes.
Throughout the episode, we see some familiar faces from previous seasons make an appearance, including Oswald Cobblepot (aka the Penguin) and Edward Nygma (aka the Riddler). Their storylines are interwoven with the main plot, providing some much-needed comic relief and adding to the overall richness of the show’s storytelling.
As the action-packed episode comes to a close, we see Gordon and Bullock finally able to capture the escaped convicts and bring them to justice. Bruce and Selina also succeed in their mission, but not without facing some serious dangers along the way.
Overall, "13 Stitches" is another strong entry in the final season of Gotham, with plenty of thrilling action, intriguing character development, and unexpected twists and turns. It’s a reminder of why this show has become such a fan favorite over the years, and why its legacy will continue to endure long after the series finale.
