As soon as the episode opens, the scene is set on Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) who has now fully embraced his vigilante alter-ego - the Dark Knight. Bruce is seen taking down some muggers on the streets of Gotham in a perfect grace. This sets the tone for the episode in which Bruce's path crosses with that of Professor Pyg, a delusional maniac who dresses up like a pig (Michel Cerveris) and is notorious for kidnapping the rich and powerful of Gotham and carving them up into meat pies.
Meanwhile, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) investigate a crime scene where a drug dealer has been killed. The case takes an interesting turn when they discover that the killer is someone from the inner circle of Sofia Falcone (Crystal Reed) - the powerful and manipulative daughter of the former mob boss Carmine Falcone (John Doman), who is trying to usurp control over the criminal underworld of Gotham.
As the night falls, the Dark Knight continues his quest to bring justice to Gotham. While chasing a small-time crook, he stumbles upon Professor Pyg's latest victim and decides to investigate further. Meanwhile, Pyg, who has been using a perfect combination of theatrics and gore to put his victims at ease, continues his cannibalistic crimes, and it is now clear that he is building up to something big.
As the investigation deepens, Gordon and Bullock realize that they are dealing with not one, but two villains, each with their own agenda. The team is determined to catch the criminals before they could harm anyone further, but given that both the villains are cunning and resourceful, it’s going to be no easy feat.
As the episode progresses, the story gets more intense and gripping. We see Gordon and Bullock working in close tandem to uncover a massive money-laundering operation involving Sofia's gang, an operation that could bring her down once and for all. And while they are trying to do that, Bruce is hot on the trail of the Professor Pyg, who is hell-bent on finishing his mission.
The tension reaches a boiling point as we approach the culmination of the episode. Bruce Wayne finds himself face to face with Professor Pyg, and the two engage in a thrilling showdown. Will Bruce be able to stop the murderous maniac before it's too late? Will Gordon and Bullock be able to expose Sofia's operation and save Gotham from falling back into the grip of organized crime?
As the episode ends, the audience is left on the edge of their seats, eagerly waiting to see what happens next in Gotham. The episode is thrilling, action-packed, and dark, all the right ingredients that make Gotham a must-watch for any comic book or crime drama fan.
