At the end of the previous episode, Sue and Eddie had discovered that they were not only in London but also in another time - medieval England. They are now on the run, unable to find a way out of the Terror Tower. Their pursuer is still hot on their heels, and it seems like there is no way to outsmart them.
As they delve deeper into the terror tower, they begin to unravel its dark history. They discover that it was once a place of imprisonment and torture and was used to imprison the king's enemies. They also find out that the children of the tower have been taken away and nowhere to be found.
Sue and Eddie stumble upon an old record player, which they assume as a clue to escape the tower. As they try to decipher the cryptic message from the record, they are ambushed by a group of guards. Out of desperation to survive, they escape to the tower roof and end up falling down several floors due to a malfunctioning trap door.
Now that they're out of the tower, they encounter a group of people in medieval clothing that look strangely familiar to them. Slowly they start to recognize them as their parents and the ones that have been controlling the situation in the tower. Their parents reveal their true intentions to them—their kids needed a lesson on bravery.
In the end, Sue and Eddie come out unscathed and brave from their 'night in terror tower' and with a newfound spirit of courage. They see their adventure in the tower as a rite of passage into adulthood, acknowledging that fear is something that they must face and overcome.
