Carly Beth is still the laughing stock of her school, after last year's Halloween costume fiasco. Determined to make this year different, she seeks out the old costume shop and the same mysterious owner who sold her the terrifying Haunted Mask. Despite warnings from the owner and her friend Sabrina, Carly Beth dons the mask again, hoping to scare her bullies and gain their respect. But she quickly realizes that the mask has taken on a life of its own, and she can't take it off. As strange things start happening around her, Carly Beth desperately searches for a way to remove the mask before it's too late. Meanwhile, Sabrina teams up with a new friend, Chuck, to investigate the costume shop and the sinister owner behind it all. They soon discover a deep, dark secret that could put their lives in danger. Will Carly Beth be able to break free from the Haunted Mask before it's too late?
