Ep 12. Stay Out of the Basement, Pt. 1

Dr. Brewer, a botanist, has gone missing. His children, Margaret and Casey, have noticed strange behavior from their father's assistant, Mr. Martinez. They investigate their father's laboratory in the basement and discover that Mr. Martinez has been experimenting with strange plants that seem to have a life of their own. Margaret and Casey become increasingly worried about their father's disappearance and Mr. Martinez's strange behavior. As they continue to explore the basement, they realize that the plants have taken over and are attacking them. They must find a way to escape and save their father before it's too late. The suspenseful episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to know what happens next in "Stay Out of the Basement, Pt. 2."
