In the first episode of Goof Troop's first season entitled "Everything's Coming up Goofy," we are introduced to Goofy and his son, Max. Goofy, who works at a local photography studio, is excited about the prospect of a promotion, but is instead asked to train a new hire, Pete. Max, meanwhile, is excited about his upcoming date with his crush, Roxanne.

Max tries to impress Roxanne by lying about his dad's job, saying that he's a pilot, and persuades his dad to pretend to be one. His plan hilariously backfires when a flying lesson goes wrong and they accidentally crash a hot air balloon into a pet store. In the meantime, Pete begins to take advantage of Goofy, stealing his lunch and getting him in trouble with their boss.

As the episode progresses, we see Goofy and Max work together to save the town's beloved parade, which is threatened when the balloons meant to be in the parade are destroyed in the pet store mishap. Max admits the truth to Roxanne about his dad's job and they share a sweet moment on the rooftop.

"Everything's Coming up Goofy" sets the tone for the rest of the series, with its heartwarming father-son moments balanced out by zany hijinks and slapstick humor. It also introduces the dynamic between Goofy and Pete, who will serve as the series' main antagonist.

Overall, the episode is a fun introduction to the world of Goof Troop and leaves viewers excited to see what adventures Goofy and Max will get into next.
