Aziraphale and Crowley continue to work together to prevent the apocalypse, but find themselves encountering new obstacles along the way.
As they try to locate the Antichrist, Aziraphale and Crowley must also contend with a group of witch hunters who are determined to rid the world of any and all supernatural beings. Meanwhile, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse begin to gather, and their arrival signals that the end of days is drawing closer.
As the stakes continue to rise, Aziraphale and Crowley also begin to grapple with their own beliefs and values. Aziraphale, who has long considered himself a loyal servant of Heaven, begins to question the morality of the plan to end the world. Crowley, meanwhile, confronts his own feelings of guilt and regret over his role in the creation of humanity.
Throughout the episode, flashbacks to pivotal moments in history offer insight into the long and complicated relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley. From a meeting in ancient Mesopotamia to a disastrous encounter during the Blitz in World War II, these flashbacks reveal just how intertwined the two are, and how their bond has endured over thousands of years.
As the episode draws to a close, Aziraphale and Crowley are forced to make some difficult decisions about how to proceed. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, they must work quickly and carefully to prevent the apocalypse from taking place.
Overall, Episode 3 of Good Omens is a suspenseful and thought-provoking addition to the series. With strong performances from both Michael Sheen and David Tennant, as well as some surprising plot twists and turns, the episode does an excellent job of keeping viewers on the edge of their seats while also exploring deeper themes of morality, loyalty, and friendship.
