Good Morning Britain is a British morning talk show that airs on ITV. Season 6 episode 11 of the show that aired on December 16th, 2019 began at 6:00 am. It was the third week before Christmas and the hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid started the show by discussing the latest Brexit news and the upcoming general elections.

The presenters then moved on to talk about the important news of the day which included the UK government’s plans to increase momentum on climate change, a fatal stabbing in London that left a 16-year-old boy dead and the recently released findings of the report on the Labour Party anti-Semitism allegations.

Later on, the show welcomed some of the UK’s biggest celebrities and public figures to discuss their latest projects and upcoming events. First up was actor and comedian David Walliams, who talked about his latest book and revealed his views on the upcoming general elections. This was followed by an interview with former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Kevin Clifton and his sister Joanne Clifton, who talked about their latest theatre production and how they spend their Christmas season.

The show also hosted an interview with the newly crowned Miss World contestant, Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica. The 23 year old singer and activist talked about her win and how she intends to use her platform to push her agenda.

In addition to the celebrity interviews, the show also had a segment about fitness and wellbeing. The hosts invited fitness expert Matt Roberts to demonstrate some simple exercises that can be done at home to stay healthy this Christmas season.

Finally towards the end of the show, the hosts read out messages from viewers about their festive plans and traditions. This segment was followed by a special performance by the ‘Southbank Centre’s Voicelab Children’s Choir. The choir performed some of their favorite Christmas carols, spreading joy to the viewers and in the studio.

As the show drew to a close, the presenters wrapped up the day’s news and signed off.
