Banri wakes up in his apartment with a fierce headache, and he is surprised to find Koko sleeping next to him. He doesn't remember anything about her coming over, and he begins to wonder if they did anything inappropriate.

As the morning progresses, Banri and Koko realize that there has been a blackout in the area. They can't use any of their electronic devices, and they can't leave the building because the elevators are not working. They decide to make the most of the situation by spending time together and getting to know each other better.

Despite their best efforts, Banri and Koko quickly grow bored of playing board games and talking by candlelight. When they hear a commotion in the hallway, they decide to investigate and discover that their neighbors are throwing a wild party on the roof. Banri and Koko join in on the fun, and for a brief moment, they forget about their problems and enjoy the moment.

However, their happiness is short-lived when they receive a phone call from Linda, who reveals that Mitsuo has gone missing. Linda asks Banri and Koko to help her find him, and they agree to help out. They gather a group of their friends and begin to search the city for Mitsuo.

As they look for Mitsuo, Banri begins to realize that he is developing feelings for Koko. He remembers a conversation he had with Linda the night before, where she advised him to be careful of Koko's true intentions. Despite Linda's warning, Banri can't help but feel drawn to Koko, and he is unsure of what to do.

As they continue to search for Mitsuo, Banri and Koko find themselves alone together, and Banri must confront his feelings for her. However, their moment is interrupted when they receive news that Mitsuo has been found. They reunite with their friends, and they all breathe a sigh of relief.

When they return to their building, the power has been restored, and Banri and Koko must say goodbye to each other. As they part ways, Banri realizes that he has a lot to think about, and he is unsure about what the future holds for him and Koko.

Overall, episode four of Golden Time explores themes of friendship, love, and self-discovery. The blackout forces Banri and Koko to spend time together and confront their true feelings, while the search for Mitsuo brings their group of friends closer together.
