Ep 1. Edogai-kun

The episode, titled Edogai-kun, is the first of the second season of Golden Kamuy. The episode continues the story of Sugimoto and Asirpa, who are headed towards their destination with the goal of finding the gold. They are also in search of their allies, Shiraishi and Tanigaki, who have been missing for some time.

Edogai explains that he has been sent by his village to guide Sugimoto and Asirpa on their journey. However, he warns them of the dangers that lie ahead and tells them that they must be careful. As they continue on their journey, they come across a group of soldiers who are hunting down the Ainu people. Sugimoto and Asirpa step in to help and are able to drive off the soldiers.

Later, they come across a large herd of deer, which Edogai is able to hunt down with ease. However, as they prepare to enjoy the spoils of their hunt, they are ambushed by a group of hunters who have been hired by a rival group in search of the gold. A fierce battle ensues, but ultimately, Sugimoto and his group are able to come out on top.

As the episode comes to a close, Sugimoto and Asirpa continue on their journey, with Edogai by their side. The episode sets the stage for what promises to be an action-packed and exciting season, full of adventure, danger, and treasure hunting. With old enemies resurfacing and new allies being found, it's sure to be a thrilling ride.
