In Gold Rush: Alaska season 7 episode 10 titled "Go Down Fighting", we pick up with the Dakota Boys as they continue to struggle to find gold on their site in Porcupine Creek. Meanwhile, Parker Schnabel and his team are facing their own set of challenges as they attempt to hit their ambitious season goal of 5,000 ounces of gold. Parker puts his crew to the test by giving them a lofty quota to meet, but it quickly becomes apparent that this is easier said than done. In an effort to increase their chances of success, the team decides to try their hand at a new mining technique - dredging for gold on land. The unconventional approach is met with skepticism from some team members, but Parker is confident that it will pay off in the end.
As the crew gets to work on the new site, they quickly realize that their equipment is having trouble keeping up with the demands of the job. Machinery breaks down, and the crew must work quickly to make necessary repairs in order to keep their timelines on track. With each passing day, the pressure mounts as they get closer to their deadline. Can they pull off their ambitious goal, or will they fall short?
Back at Porcupine Creek, the Dakota Boys face more setbacks as they attempt to resume mining after the storm. The floodwaters have caused significant damage to their equipment, and they must scramble to make necessary repairs. Frustration mounts as they struggle to get their operation back up and running.
As the episode reaches its climax, tension among the miners reaches a boiling point. The Dakota Boys and Parker's crew must each decide how far they are willing to go to hit their goals and come out on top.
