Parker and his team decide to bring in a new machine, nicknamed "Little Red Rocket," to help them reach their goal.

Tony and his crew are also experiencing issues with their operations when a vital component of their dredge, the cutterhead, breaks down. Without it, the entire dredge is rendered useless, and Tony is left scrambling to find a replacement before time runs out. With the gold-rich season quickly coming to an end, the pressure is on for Tony to find a solution fast.

Meanwhile, Rick Ness and his team are working to recover from a slow start to their season. After making a bold move to mine a new area, they came across hard rock that made it difficult to extract any gold. In this episode, Rick pushes his team to work harder and more efficiently as they try to catch up to the other mining crews.

As the day progresses, the miners face a series of obstacles that test their determination to find gold.
