Ep 8. Leviathan

The episode begins with a ship floating in the ocean, thought to have been lost years ago. However, upon closer inspection, it's revealed that the ship has been retrofitted with advanced technology. The crew of the ship use a weapon similar to the maser cannons seen in earlier episodes to attack a nearby tanker, and a giant sea creature appears shortly after.

Meanwhile, Nick and the rest of the team are monitoring Godzilla when they receive a distress signal from the tanker that was attacked. They quickly head out on the H.E.A.T. Seeker to investigate. As they arrive on the scene, they discover that the sea creature responsible for the attack is none other than Leviathan, a giant prehistoric creature that was believed to be extinct.

Despite being warned against it by Monique, Nick jumps into the water to get a better look at Leviathan. The creature attacks him but Godzilla quickly comes to his rescue. Leviathan manages to get away and heads towards a nearby underwater cave system, which H.E.A.T. promptly follows in an attempt to find it.

As they explore the caves, H.E.A.T. discovers that Leviathan is not alone. There are smaller creatures swimming with it, and they prove to be quite hostile. The team also discovers that the technology on the ship responsible for the attack is being used to control Leviathan's behavior.

After narrowly escaping the smaller creatures, H.E.A.T. locates Leviathan and attempts to communicate with it. They discover that the ship's technology is causing Leviathan great pain and is being controlled by someone on board. As they attempt to free Leviathan from the technology's grip, they are attacked by the crew of the ship, who are led by a man named Cameron Winter.

Winter explains that he has been using the technology to control Leviathan in an attempt to harness the creature's powers for his own gain. However, his plan backfires when Leviathan begins to mutate and grows even more powerful. It becomes clear that if Leviathan isn't stopped soon, it will cause massive destruction and chaos.

After a fierce battle between Godzilla and Leviathan, H.E.A.T. is able to disable the ship's technology, freeing Leviathan from Winter's control. The team is then forced to make a difficult decision as they realize that Leviathan has grown too large and powerful to be kept in captivity. With heavy hearts, they decide that they have no choice but to let it go and return to the safety of the ocean.

Overall, Leviathan is a thrilling episode that explores the dark side of humanity's desire for power and control. It also introduces a new and formidable opponent for Godzilla and the H.E.A.T. team to face, making it a must-see for fans of the series.
