Go! Go! Cory Carson is an animated children's show about a group of cute, personified cars who live in a fictional town called Bumperton Hills. In season 4 episode 5, titled "Trashy Romance," we follow Cory Carson and his team of friends as they try to solve a trash problem that has overtaken their town.
The episode begins with the cars of Bumperton Hills in a state of concern and panic. Everywhere they turn, they see trash littering the streets and the roads. The once lovely and pristine town of Bumperton Hills is now covered in garbage, and no one knows how to get rid of it.
Cory Carson, who is the main character of the show, and his team of friends, consisting of a tow truck named Freddie, a school bus named Halle, and a fire truck named Chrissy, come up with a plan to address the trash crisis. They decide to gather all the trash in one central location, in the hopes of figuring out what to do with it.
As they go about their task, Cory and Halle discover an old book that has been discarded and abandoned. Intrigued, they start reading it together, and are delighted to find that it is a classic romance novel. As they read on, the two of them become engrossed in the story, and start enacting the various characters in the book.
Meanwhile, Freddie and Chrissy, along with the other cars, have managed to gather all the trash in one spot. However, they are still at a loss as to how to dispose of it. Just then, a new character, a garbage truck named E-Z, also a fan of romance novels, joins the group. He suggests that they take the trash to a landfill, which he describes as a place where garbage is buried and compacted.
However, transporting the trash to the landfill is no easy task. The journey is long and arduous, and they encounter many obstacles along the way. But with the help of their new friend E-Z, they manage to make it to the landfill, and safely dispose of the trash.
As for Cory and Halle, their love story comes full circle as they play out the various characters from the romance novel. With the trash crisis over, they discuss the possibility of writing their own romance novel, based on the adventures they have had in Bumperton Hills.
"Trashy Romance" is a fun episode that deals with important themes of taking responsibility for waste management, and the joy that can be found in reading and storytelling. The episode also introduces a new character in E-Z, who is a great addition to the cast.
