Diego and his friends are back in season 2 of Go, Diego, Go! In episode 3, titled Cool Water for Ana the Anaconda, Diego sets out to help Ana the Anaconda find cool water to keep her body temperature regulated.
The episode begins with Diego and his friend Baby Jaguar on their way to the river to meet up with Ana the Anaconda. Diego explains to Baby Jaguar that Ana needs cool water to help regulate her body temperature because she is a cold-blooded creature. Baby Jaguar is excited to help Ana but is unsure how to find cool water.
Once they arrive at the river, Diego and Baby Jaguar meet up with Ana, who explains that the water is too warm for her to swim in. She tells Diego that she needs cool, clean water to help regulate her body temperature and to keep her healthy. Diego promises to help Ana find the cool water she needs.
Diego uses his binoculars to search for a nearby waterfall that he thinks might have cool water. The group sets out on their adventure, but Ana is moving slowly because she is unable to cool down in the warm water. Diego suggests that Ana wrap herself around a branch to help keep her body off of the hot ground, and Ana is grateful for the suggestion.
As the group travels deeper into the jungle, they come across a riverbed that has run dry. They meet up with a group of animals, including a family of armadillos and a family of tapirs, who are all searching for water.
Diego devises a plan to help everyone find water. He sends Baby Jaguar off to find another source of water while he and Ana make a shelter to keep everyone cool. The shelter is made out of leaves and branches and has a cool, dark interior. Once the shelter is complete, Diego and Ana invite all the animals to come inside to cool off.
Meanwhile, Baby Jaguar has found a nearby watering hole that has plenty of cool, clean water. He races back to the shelter to tell Diego and Ana about his discovery. Diego and Ana lead all the animals to the watering hole, and they all drink their fill of the refreshing water.
Ana thanks Diego and his friends for their help and says that she feels much better now that she has cooled off. The group returns to the river, where Ana is finally able to swim in the cool water.
The episode wraps up with Diego explaining the importance of staying cool and hydrated in the jungle. He reminds his viewers that everyone needs clean, cool water to stay healthy, just like Ana the Anaconda.
