Diego Saves Baby Humpback Whale is the third episode of the first season of Go, Diego, Go!. In this episode, Diego receives an urgent message from his friend, Alicia, who informs him that a baby humpback whale is in distress. The baby whale has been separated from its mother and is stuck on a sandbar. Diego quickly springs into action and decides to help the little whale reunite with its mother.
Diego and his sister, Alicia, hop onto their Rescue Pack and set off to find the baby whale. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges. They navigate through a maze of tricky seaweed, dodge a school of hungry barracudas, and swim through a dangerous current.
Once they arrive at the sandbar, they find the baby whale flapping its fins helplessly. Diego and Alicia try to push the whale back into the water, but the current is too strong. They need to come up with a new plan.
Diego remembers that humpback whales communicate with each other through song. He decides to use his Animal Rescuer Song to call out to the baby whale's mother. Diego teaches Alicia how to sing the song and they both start singing it loudly. To their relief, the mother humpback whale hears their song and starts swimming towards them.
The mother whale arrives and uses her powerful tail to create a wave that lifts the baby whale off the sandbar and onto her back. She then swims away with her baby, and Diego and Alicia are overjoyed that they were able to reunite the mother and child.
As they swim back to shore, Diego and Alicia encounter a group of dolphins, who invite them to play a game of catch. The dolphins toss a frisbee and Diego and Alicia race to catch it. They have a lot of fun playing with their new friends and express their gratitude for all the animals they have met along the way.
