Diego and his friend, Linda the Librarian, are out on an adventure to save the books in the library. Linda is worried because the library is going through renovations and she needs to move all the books to a safe place. Diego, being the animal rescuer, suggests moving the books to the Animal Rescue Center where they can be safe until the library is ready.
Diego and Linda soon realize that moving all the books is not going to be an easy task. They enlist the help of Linda's book group friends who are more than willing to lend a hand. Diego sets up a book train using a wagon and a bunch of ropes, and everyone gets to work.
As they are moving the books, they come across a group of monkeys who have never seen books before. Diego and Linda introduce them to the world of reading, and soon the monkeys are hooked. They start to read all the books they can get their hands on and even create their own books using leaves as pages.
While everyone is busy moving the books, a group of mischievous foxes sneak in and start to wreak havoc. They start tearing pages from the books and throwing them all over the place. Diego and Linda realize they need to oust the foxes before they destroy everything.
With the help of the monkeys, who have now formed a book club, Diego and Linda catch the foxes and make sure they can't do any more damage. They also explain to them the importance of books and reading.
Finally, after a long day, all the books are safely tucked away at the Animal Rescue Center. Linda is overjoyed and thankful to Diego and his friends for their help. As a reward, Linda invites everyone to a special storytime where she reads her favorite book, Charlotte's Web, to her new book club.
Overall, "Linda the Librarian" is a heartwarming and educational episode of Go, Diego, Go! that emphasizes the importance of books and the joy of reading. The show instills valuable lessons in young viewers while still being entertaining and fun.
