Diego Marquez, an eight-year-old boy who loves animals, sets out to rescue and protect them in his role as an animal rescuer. In the series premiere of Go, Diego, Go! titled "Chinta the Baby Chinchilla," Diego embarks on an adventure to save a baby chinchilla named Chinta.
The episode begins with Diego and his best friend, Baby Jaguar, relaxing in the rainforest when Alicia, Diego's cousin, calls for help.
