In GLOW season 3 episode 9 titled "The Libertines," tensions continue to rise as the ladies of GLOW prepare for their big live show in Las Vegas. This episode focuses on the fallout from the previous episode's cliffhanger, which saw Debbie and Bash confronting the truth about their mutual feelings for each other.
Debbie is struggling to come to terms with her emotions, and is unsure if she's ready to take her relationship with Bash to the next level. Meanwhile, Ruth is dealing with her own personal issues, as she frets over the quality of the show and whether or not they'll be able to pull it off.
As the ladies rehearse their routines, it's clear that they're all feeling the pressure. Some are struggling with their performance, while others are grappling with personal issues that threaten to derail the group's cohesion. Nonetheless, they all band together to try and make the show a success.
The episode also delves into the personal lives of some of the other characters, including Carmen's strained relationship with her family and Arthie's struggle to come out to her parents. These side stories offer a glimpse into the fully realized world of GLOW, and help to flesh out its diverse range of characters.
Overall, "The Libertines" is an emotionally charged episode that does a great job of building tension and setting up the climactic finale. With great performances from the entire cast, it's a must-watch for fans of the show.
