The episode Keep Ridin' is the eighth episode of the third season of GLOW. This comedy-drama series is based on the real-life Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) promotional wrestling show of the 1980s. The show follows a group of women who become professional wrestlers and face various challenges both in and out of the ring. In Keep Ridin', the main focus is on the personal storylines of several of the characters.
The episode opens with Ruth (played by Alison Brie) and Debbie (played by Betty Gilpin) on a road trip to Las Vegas. They are going to see a showgirl friend of Debbie's, who is leaving Vegas and needs some help moving. During the road trip, the two women discuss their personal lives and their struggles to balance their careers with their familial obligations.
Meanwhile, back in LA, the other GLOW wrestlers are also dealing with their own personal problems. Tammé (played by Kia Stevens) is struggling with a back injury and is worried that she may not be able to continue wrestling. Melanie (played by Jackie Tohn) is trying to balance her double life as a wrestler and a mother, while Yolanda (played by Shakira Barrera) is dealing with the aftermath of an argument with Arthie (played by Sunita Mani).
Back in Vegas, Ruth and Debbie arrive at the showgirl's apartment to find that it is full of cats and that their friend has seemingly disappeared. They spend the day searching for her, which allows them to reconnect and reminisce about their past experiences together.
In LA, the other GLOW wrestlers are working on a new routine for their upcoming show. The routine involves a complicated dance sequence, which proves to be a challenge for some of the women. Meanwhile, Bash (played by Chris Lowell) is dealing with his own personal problems and is trying to find a way to cope with the death of his butler and close friend, Florian.
As the episode progresses, the storylines of the characters begin to intertwine. Ruth and Debbie's road trip allows them to reconnect and put their differences aside, while the other wrestlers begin to work through their problems and come together as a team. In the end, they all come together for one final performance, which proves to be a triumph for the GLOW wrestling show.
