Glory Daze is a comedic television series that aired on TBS from 2010 to 2011. The show is set in 1986 and follows a group of college students as they navigate their way through their freshman year at Hayes University. The show focuses on the fraternity life experience, relationships, and the college experience in general. The show revolves around the lives of Joel Harrington (played by Kelly Blatz), Eli Feldman (played by Matt Bush), Brian Sommers (played by Tim Jo), Jason Wilson (played by Drew Seeley) and Mike Reno (played by Hartley Sawyer).

Joel is the central protagonist of the show. He is a student who is uncertain about his future and wants to enjoy his college life to the fullest. He lives in the residence hall and soon gets curious about fraternity life. He eventually becomes a member of Omega Sigma fraternity and tries to balance his life between studying and enjoying his time with his new friends. Eli is his childhood friend who follows him to Hayes University, hoping to make his own mark in life. Eli is depicted as a nerd who is interested in computers and becomes the go-to guy for his fraternity.

Brian is Joel's roommate, who is nerdy and introverted. He is not interested in fraternity life but is soon recruited by Omega Sigma fraternity. He is the straight man, and the show often lampoons his idealism and quirkiness. Jason is a jock who is initially part of the Gamma Psi fraternity. Due to a misunderstanding with his frat brothers, he decides to join Omega Sigma, and he soon becomes Joel's best friend. Mike is the fraternity's leader, who is depicted as a ladies' man and an alpha-male character, and has his sights on the presidency of the Student Government.

The show also features Professor Haines (played by Tim Meadows), an African-American professor who teaches African-American studies. He is depicted as the voice of reason and a mentor to the students. The show also features a host of other characters, including Todd (played by Callard Harris), another member of Omega Sigma who is portrayed as a bully and a jerk. Christie (played by Julianna Guill) is Joel's love interest, who is a part of the Zeta Alpha Zeta sorority.

The show's premise is based on the experiences of the four writers who created the show, Walt Becker, Michael LeSieur, Mike LeSieur, and producer Jamie Tarses, who all attended college in the 1980s. The primary focus of the show is on the fraternity experience and how it impacts the lives of the students. The show often touches on the more outrageous aspects of college life, such as parties, alcohol, dating, and sexual relationships, and challenges faced by the students. It is an attempt to capture the feeling of being young, reckless, and carefree that is common in college life.

The show features a lot of humor, and the characters often find themselves in ridiculous situations. It is a lighthearted depiction of college life, and the characters are often shown having fun, despite the difficulties they face. The show is set in a time before cell phones and social media, and it is depicted as a simpler, more carefree time, and the music and fashion of the 80s are used extensively.

Glory Daze is a show that appeals to viewers who are nostalgic for their college days or those who want to experience college life through the show's lens. The show's humor and depiction of college life make it a lighthearted and enjoyable watch. The show was well-received by viewers and critics but was ultimately canceled after one season due to low ratings. Despite this setback, it remains a cult favorite among those who watched it, and its humor and depiction of college life continue to resonate with viewers long after it was canceled.
