The Glee club heads to New York City for the National Show Choir Championships in the season two finale. The group divides into smaller teams to explore the city, with Rachel and Kurt getting tickets to a Broadway show, Finn and Quinn visiting the Statue of Liberty, and Artie and Brittany exploring Central Park. Meanwhile, Will and Emma go on a date, Sue accounts for her newspaper column, and the rest of the Glee club prepares for their big performance.

As the competition approaches, tensions are high amongst the group, with each member feeling the pressure to perform their best. When their time finally comes, the Glee club takes the stage to deliver a show-stopping performance that leaves the judges and audience in awe.

After the competition, the group comes together to celebrate their success and reflect on their journey. Each member realizes how much they've grown and changed since joining the Glee club, and they can't imagine life without each other.

As the episode comes to a close, the group returns to Ohio, where they learn that not everyone will be returning to McKinley High for the next school year. The cliffhanger leaves fans wondering what will happen to their favorite characters as they continue their journey beyond high school.
