When a high-profile and very successful glee club coach named Sandy arrives at McKinley High for a talk with the principal, it's clear that there will be some major changes happening at the school. And the change gets even more real when Sandy shows up to audition for the glee club and sings his way into the hearts of the students.
Meanwhile, in an effort to get Finn back into the glee club, Rachel puts together a plan to take him to dinner at a local restaurant with some special guests in attendance, and Kurt tries out for a solo in the glee club. But things don't go smoothly for either of them.
The episode is full of emotional highs and lows, with plenty of music, as usual, to keep the show moving along. We see some of our favorite characters dealing with disappointment and finding ways to move past it, as well as learning to work together and be supportive of one another in their endeavors.
Along the way, we get some unexpected surprises, including a cameo appearance by a well-known singer who serves as a mentor to one of the students. And there's even a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the audition process for the glee club, showing us just how hard these young performers work to make it onto the team.
Overall, The Rhodes Not Taken is a fun and engaging episode that shows us just why Glee became such a hit with audiences around the world. With its blend of drama, comedy, and music, it's a show that offers something for everyone, whether you're a die-hard fan or just tuning in for the first time. And with each new episode, we get to see these characters grow and change, as they learn to navigate the complex world of high school and follow their dreams.
