In the first episode of Girls Bravo season 1, titled “Bravo From the Bathroom!”, we are introduced to our protagonist, a teenage boy named Yukinari Sasaki. Yukinari suffers from a very unique condition where he breaks out in hives whenever he comes into contact with girls. This unfortunate ailment has caused him to become extremely timid and shy around the opposite sex, and as a result, he has very few friends.
One day, while taking a bath, Yukinari discovers a portal in the bath that leads to another world. In this world, there are no men, and the women are all beautiful and scantily clad. Yukinari is understandably thrilled at the prospect of being able to interact with girls without breaking out in hives, but his excitement is short-lived when he is immediately accosted by a group of women who mistake him for a pervert.
Amidst all the chaos, Yukinari meets a girl named Miharu, who comes to his rescue and helps explain the situation to the other women. Miharu is a resident of the alternate world and is fascinated by Yukinari’s odd condition. In exchange for his friendship, Miharu offers to help Yukinari learn how to interact with women without breaking out in hives.
As the episode progresses, we are introduced to several other characters, including Kirie Kojima, a classmate of Yukinari’s who has a crush on him, and Kosame, a ninja girl from the alternate world who has been sent to retrieve Miharu but instead becomes intrigued by Yukinari.
Throughout the episode, we see Yukinari gradually become more comfortable around Miharu and slowly start to overcome his fear of girls. However, he is still very self-conscious about his condition and is afraid of being seen by anyone back in his own world. Despite this, Yukinari realizes that he never wants to leave the alternate world as it gives him a sense of confidence and self-assuredness that he has never experienced before.
Overall, “Bravo From the Bathroom!” is a fun and lighthearted introduction to the world of Girls Bravo. The premise is intriguing, and the characters are all likable and easy to relate to. As the first episode comes to a close, we are left wondering what sort of adventures Yukinari and his new friends will have in the alternate world.
