He even manages to drive the car up a large flight of steps and onto a rooftop, impressing both Kagura and the yakuza.
In the end, the episode concludes with Hasegawa and Lupin being reunited, and the two dogs continuing to play together in the park. Gintoki and Kagura also successfully retrieve the stolen car and return it to their customer.
