Ep 1. The Groupie

Katie Kanisky, now the housekeeper for the Kanisky family, finds herself reliving past experiences when a rockstar and his entourage rent a home in their neighborhood. Goober, the youngest of the Kanisky children, is thrilled to meet his idol, but Katie, who used to be a groupie herself, is wary of the partying and chaos that surrounds the musician. Despite her reservations, she eventually gets caught up in the excitement and even gets invited to a private concert. However, when the rockstar crosses a line and causes harm to a family member, Katie is forced to rethink her admiration for him and confront her own past behaviors. Meanwhile, chief Brian starts giving away his personal belongings as he prepares to move in with his girlfriend, leading Nell to worry about his commitment to the relationship. As the family deals with these issues, they learn to lean on each other for support and navigate through the trials of life. The episode ends with a touching scene highlighting the importance of family and forgiveness.
