Ep 9. The Prodigal Daughter Returns

Lorelai is shocked when her estranged mother, Emily, arrives at the Dragonfly Inn unannounced. Emily claims she is there to make amends and reconnect with her daughter. However, Lorelai is skeptical of her mother's true intentions. Meanwhile, Rory gets news that she has been accepted back into Yale for the second semester. However, she has mixed feelings about returning after the events that led to her dropping out in the first place. Rory turns to her ex-boyfriend Logan for advice, but their conversation takes a surprising turn. Elsewhere, Lane struggles to balance her newfound motherhood with her responsibilities as a drummer in her band.
