Ep 8. The Party's Over

Rory's birthday party turns disastrous after she and Logan share a huge fight about his business dealings. While Rory is dealing with an unexpected turn in her relationship, Lorelai has her hands full dealing with Emily, who strictly enforces certain behaviours and protocols at all social events. With the help of Sookie, Lorelai successfully cooks for a party of forty at the Dragonfly Inn. However, Lorelai doubts the momentum of her relationship with Luke as he seems to be pulling away from her. Meanwhile, Lane and Zach's marriage takes a hit when they realise that they want different things out of life. In the end, the whole town bands together during a freak storm that threatens to ruin everything they have worked so hard for.
