Lorelai and Rory attend a funeral for the father of an old friend from Chilton, causing Lorelai to reflect on her own relationship with her estranged father, Richard. Meanwhile, Richard's health takes a turn for the worse, and Emily becomes increasingly worried about his well-being. Rory's relationship with Logan hits a bump in the road when she discovers that he has been keeping a secret from her. Back in Stars Hollow, Luke tries to repair his relationship with Taylor, and Sookie's pregnancy cravings get out of control.
