After the explosive fight between Rory and Dean, Lorelai tries to comfort her daughter while also realizing that her own relationship with Max may be in trouble. Meanwhile, Sookie and Jackson hire a boisterous new employee for the Dragonfly Inn, much to Michel's annoyance. Emily and Richard return from their trip, only to discover that their house has been broken into and their beloved cat is missing. As the town unites to search for the missing feline, tensions continue to rise for the Gilmore girls and their loved ones.
