In the 19th episode of season 1 of Gigantosaurus, titled "The Big Mean Green / How Giganto Got His Roar," the four dinosaur friends Mazu, Rocky, Bill, and Tiny are fast asleep when they are awakened by a loud, scary roar. They soon find out that it's coming from a green Gigantosaurus. The green Gigantosaurus is causing destruction all over the forest, and the friends are scared of his mean demeanor and loud roar. They set off to find Giganto, and when they do, they try to understand why he is acting this way.
Giganto reveals through flashbacks that he was once a scared and timid dinosaur who could not even roar. But, he changed when he needed to protect his family and friends from a T-Rex. He found his roar and became the giant Gigantosaurus he is today. The little dinosaurs witness Giganto's transformation and understand that he is not mean but is just misunderstood. They use this information to try and calm him down.
The episode is all about understanding others and not judging them before getting to know them. While it may be easy to jump to conclusions about someone's intention, it's essential to take the time to understand why they're acting that way. The Giganto may look mean and scary, but he has a soft side to him, which the little dinosaur discovered.
