In the season 2 episode 11 of Giada's Weekend Getaways, titled "Boston," the famed chef and host takes us on an adventure to one of the oldest and most historic cities in the United States. Giada's first stop in Boston is the popular Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox. She joins several fans in tailgating before the game, where she showcases how to cook up some ballpark favorites like hot dogs and sausages.

Famed for its authentic Italian cuisine, Giada heads to one of the neighbourhood's oldest and most well-known restaurants, Giacomo's, to try out some classic dishes like clam chowder, lobster pasta and tiramisu.
Moving on, Giada visits the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to learn more about the life and legacy of one of America's most beloved presidents. Giada showcases the library's extensive collection of artefacts including personal letters, photographs and speeches, giving viewers a glimpse into the personal life of JFK.
In keeping with the Boston tradition, Giada tries her hand at baking tasty Boston cream pie, before heading to the Marliave restaurant. Here, she meets with Chef Scott Herritt to cook up some meatball-stuffed Padrón peppers and deviled eggs.
Moreover, Giada takes us to New England Aquarium where she interacts with the wildlife and learns about the importance of conservation efforts in protecting endangered species like sea turtles.
Finally, Giada takes a walk through the city's iconic Harvard University campus, where she uncovers the rich history of this world-renowned institution. She rounds off the episode by enjoying a delicious savory and sweet breakfast sandwich from the popular Tatte Bakery.
