Ep 6. Imaginary Friends

Melinda helps a couple, Jack and Beth Corbin, whose child has "imaginary friends". The couple claims that their child talks to them regularly and says that their imaginary friends move objects and play with their child. When the Corbins' home alarms suddenly malfunction, Melinda realizes that the spirits of Jack's former partners (who were police officers) are trying to communicate with him to help solve their murder case. Meanwhile, tensions rise between Melinda and Jim when Jim has an opportunity to pursue a new career path.
