Ep 10. Ball & Chain

Melinda Gordon is a small-town girl living in Grandview, a picturesque suburban community that's home to her family and friends. She's married to Jim Clancy, a local paramedic who knows Melinda's secret--she can communicate with spirits. Unfortunately for Melinda, this ability isn't always welcome or helpful--ghosts are often angry or frightened, and they're not always willing to accept help from the living.

In "Ball & Chain," the tenth episode of season 4 of Ghost Whisperer, Melinda finds herself caught between the living and the dead once again. This time, she's trying to help a ghost named Ginny Mather, whose wedding day ended in tragedy.

She finds herself working alongside a pair of unlikely allies--Bryan's parents, who have secrets of their own--and together they race against time to solve the mystery before it's too late.

Along the way, Melinda must also confront her own fears about commitment and the future. Seeing the lengths that Bryan is willing to go to in order to be with Ginny, she's forced to ask herself whether she's really ready for a lifetime of helping restless spirits find peace.
