In the season 8, episode 5 of Ghost Hunters titled "Moonshine & Madness", the team heads to Savannah, Georgia, to investigate the historic Kehoe House, which is said to be haunted by a number of spirits. The Kehoe House was built in 1892 and was once the home of William Kehoe, a prominent businessman in the city.
The team starts their investigation by interviewing the innkeeper, who describes a number of strange occurrences that have taken place at the house, including doors opening and closing on their own, unexplained noises, and the feeling of being watched. The innkeeper also mentions that there have been reports of ghostly apparitions throughout the house, including a woman dressed in Victorian clothing and a little girl who is often seen playing with a ball.
During their investigation, the team uses a variety of tools and techniques to try to capture evidence of paranormal activity. They start by conducting an EVP (electronic voice phenomena) session in one of the bedrooms, where they hear what sounds like a woman's voice responding to one of their questions. They also use a thermal imaging camera to try to detect any changes in the temperature of the room, which is a common sign of paranormal activity.
As the investigation continues, the team splits up to cover more ground. One team heads to the basement, where they use a spirit box to try to communicate with any spirits that may be present. The spirit box is a device that scans through radio frequencies, creating white noise that spirits are said to be able to use to communicate.
Meanwhile, another team heads to the attic, which is said to be particularly active. They set up a trigger object, which is a small ball that will move if touched, to see if they can capture any physical evidence of paranormal activity. While they don't capture any movement of the trigger object, they do hear a number of unexplained noises that they attribute to potential paranormal activity.
Throughout the investigation, the team also tries to debunk any potential sources of the reported activity. For example, they investigate a door that appears to open on its own, only to discover that it is likely due to changes in air pressure in the room.
Overall, the team comes away from the investigation with a number of potential pieces of evidence, including EVPs and strange noises. While they don't capture any definitive proof of paranormal activity, they do note that the Kehoe House is certainly a location with a lot of history and a potential for paranormal activity.
