Ep 6. The Fitzpatrick Hotel

The Fitzpatrick Hotel in Washington, Georgia, has quite the storied past. It’s been a hub for the town’s social scene since the early 1900s. Diamond miners, cotton brokers, and bootleggers all passed through its doors. However, with a history like that, it's no wonder that the hotel is believed to be haunted. The Ghost Brothers are on the case.

The Ghost Brothers are comprised of three friends who investigate paranormal activity together. Juwan Mass, Dalen Spratt, and Marcus Harvey all have a love for the supernatural, and they have decided to share their passion with the world. The Fitzpatrick Hotel is their latest endeavor, and the trio is invited to investigate by the hotel’s owner.

Upon arrival, the Ghost Brothers realize they have their work cut out for them. The building is massive, and they are given access to every inch of the property. They are told that the hotel is haunted by multiple ghosts, some of whom have been spotted by guests and staff alike.

The brothers decide to split up to cover more ground. Marcus, the team’s historian, takes a walk through the hotel’s basement. He discovers that it was once used as a speakeasy during Prohibition. He also finds a hidden door that leads to a tunnel to the town square. It’s said that the tunnel was used by bootleggers to smuggle booze during Prohibition. Marcus investigates all the hidden rooms thoroughly and notices some paranormal activity.

Dalen decides to spend some time in the lobby, where guests have reported seeing a ghostly woman. He sets up some equipment and begins his investigation. Soon enough, he is able to capture evidence of an apparition on his thermal camera. The image shows a figure that looks like a woman in a long dress. Dalen thinks that it could be the ghostly woman that has been seen in the lobby.

Juwan’s investigation takes him to the fourth floor of the hotel. He stumbles upon a room that was once used to store ice. He senses that something is off and decides to take a closer look. The room’s temperature is freezing, even though there is no air conditioning, and Juwan feels a strange presence around him. He becomes spooked and decides to leave the room.

The Ghost Brothers regroup and share their findings with each other. They discover that the hotel was built upon the site of an early settlement in Washington, Georgia. The town was home to the Cherokee people until troops came and forced them out. The trio thinks that the land could be cursed, and the disruptions caused by building the hotel may have led to the paranormal activity.

The team has one last investigation before they conclude their stay at the Fitzpatrick Hotel. They decide to investigate the hotel’s ballroom, where a ghostly couple has been spotted dancing. They hope to capture evidence of the apparitions on their cameras.

As they set up their equipment, they realize that they are not alone. They hear the sound of a ballroom band playing in the distance. The sound grows louder and louder until the Ghost Brothers feel like they are part of the party. Suddenly, the music stops, and the room goes silent.

The brothers review their footage and discover that they have indeed captured evidence of the ghostly couple. The glowing figures of two people waltzing on the dance floor are clearly visible on their cameras. The trio concludes that the Fitzpatrick Hotel is definitely haunted and that the ghosts they encountered seem to be happy spirits.

The Ghost Brothers have solved yet another paranormal mystery, and their investigation of the Fitzpatrick Hotel will leave audiences positively spooked.
