The show Ghost Asylum takes a team of investigators to some of the most haunted locations in America to search for evidence of paranormal activity. In season 2 episode 7, the team travels to Moundsville Penitentiary in West Virginia, which is said to be one of the most haunted places in the United States.

The prison was built in 1867 and was designed to hold 480 inmates. Over the years, the prison became overcrowded and conditions deteriorated. Many prisoners were held in solitary confinement for years at a time, and some were even executed within the prison walls. It's no wonder that the prison has become a hotspot for paranormal activity.

The Ghost Asylum team is comprised of five members: Chris, Chase, Brannon, Doogie, and Porter. They arrive at the prison in the middle of the night and set up their equipment, including cameras, EMF detectors, and audio recorders. They begin their investigation in the psychiatric ward of the prison, where many of the most violent and disturbed inmates were housed.

As they begin to explore the ward, they immediately pick up on strange activity. They hear unexplained noises and voices, and they feel as though they are being watched. They set up some motion-activated cameras and continue their investigation.

Next, the team moves to the execution chamber, where many inmates were put to death by electric chair. They set up their equipment and begin to call out to any spirits that may be present. They pick up on some EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) that seem to be responses to their questions.

The team then moves to the prison's library, which is said to be haunted by a former librarian who still haunts the shelves. They set up some EMF detectors and start asking questions. Suddenly, one of the team members feels as though they are being touched by something and they quickly move on to the next location.

The team then explores the prison's tunnels, which were used to transport inmates and supplies throughout the prison. The tunnels are said to be haunted by the spirits of former inmates who still roam the corridors. As they make their way through the tunnels, the team picks up on some strange EVPs and feels as though they are being followed.

Finally, the team makes their way to Death Row, where some of the most violent inmates were held. They set up some cameras and start asking questions. Suddenly, they hear a loud bang and they quickly realize that something is trying to communicate with them.

As the investigation comes to a close, the team reviews their footage and audio recordings. They are able to capture some compelling evidence of paranormal activity, including EVPs, unexplained noises, and strange shadows moving throughout the prison.

Overall, the Ghost Asylum team's investigation of Moundsville Penitentiary proves to be one of their most intense and frightening investigations yet. The prison's dark history and violent past have left behind a powerful energy that still lingers to this day.
