The Ghost Adventures crew heads to Philadelphia to explore one of the most haunted locations in the country – the Eastern State Penitentiary. This massive prison held some of the most notorious criminals in American history, including Al Capone. However, the crew is not only interested in the living, but the dead as well. They've heard rumors of a mysterious ghost that inhabits the grounds – the ghost of none other than George Washington himself.
As soon as the crew arrives, they feel an eerie energy surrounding them. The prison, which operated from 1829 until 1971, was designed to strip prisoners of all human contact and leave them in complete silence and solitude. The crew can't help but feel the weight of this oppressive atmosphere.
They start their investigation in one of the most notorious parts of the prison – Cellblock 12. This cellblock housed some of the most violent and dangerous offenders, and it's said that the energy still lingers here. The crew uses their equipment to try to capture evidence of any paranormal activity. Soon, they begin to hear strange noises and feel odd sensations, but no concrete evidence is captured.
Next, they move to the prison's baseball diamond. The site of many inmate fights and deaths, the crew knows this area holds a lot of potential for paranormal activity. They set up their equipment and begin to ask questions, trying to elicit a response from any spirits present. Suddenly, they hear a voice whisper "get out" and feel a cold wind blow through the area.
The time comes for the crew to investigate the most infamous part of the prison – Al Capone's cell. The notorious gangster was only incarcerated for a short time in Eastern State Penitentiary, but his cell is said to be one of the most haunted areas of the prison. As they approach the cell, they begin to hear strange noises and see odd shadows moving inside.
Using a modified radio, the crew begins to ask Capone questions. To their surprise, they hear what sounds like a response – a faint, whispery voice that answers their questions. They continue to ask more questions, and the voice becomes clearer and more distinct. The crew can hardly believe what they're hearing.
As the investigation continues, the crew members begin to feel an oppressive energy surrounding them. They start to see apparitions and hear unexplained noises. It seems that the spirit of George Washington is not the only one haunting Eastern State Penitentiary. However, despite the haunting and eerie nature of the prison, the crew feels that they've made a breakthrough in their investigation.
Overall, this episode of Ghost Adventures is one of the most intense and spine-tingling yet. The crew faces some of the most intense paranormal activity they've ever encountered, and they do so in one of the most infamous locations in American history. The episode is sure to leave viewers on the edge of their seats, waiting to see what the crew will uncover next.
