Ep 1. The Pioneer Saloon

In the first episode of season 8, the Ghost Adventures crew headed to Goodsprings, Nevada to investigate the Pioneer Saloon - a historical bar that has been around since 1913. The saloon has a rich history, having served as a watering hole for miners, cowboys, and even Clark Gable during the filming of The Misfits.

The crew interviewed a number of locals, including the current owner of the saloon and a former bartender, both of whom shared stories of paranormal activity. Employees have reported seeing full-bodied apparitions, hearing unexplained voices and footsteps, and feeling a heavy presence in certain areas of the bar.

To further investigate these claims, the crew brought in various pieces of equipment, including thermal imaging cameras, spirit boxes, and an Ovilus device. They also employed the use of a trigger object - a whiskey bottle - in an attempt to communicate with any spirits that might be present.

As they began their investigation, the crew split up into smaller groups to cover different areas of the saloon. Zak and Aaron headed to the basement, where employees have reported hearing disembodied voices and seeing shadow figures. Using their spirit box, they attempted to communicate with any spirits present. They received a number of responses, including a possible name and a message directed at Zak.

Meanwhile, Nick and Billy investigated the former apartment above the saloon, where employees have reported seeing a male apparition. Using their thermal imaging camera, they captured what appeared to be a figure standing in the corner. They also heard unexplained noises and felt a cold breeze in the room.

Finally, the crew regrouped in the main area of the saloon to conduct their final investigation. As they began their EVP session, they heard what sounded like footsteps coming from the second floor. They immediately investigated but found no one there.

Overall, the crew found a significant amount of evidence to suggest that the Pioneer Saloon is indeed haunted. They captured numerous EVPs and unexplained noises, as well as a possible apparition on their thermal imaging camera.
