The Ghost Adventures team heads to Sauk Centre, Minnesota, to investigate the Palmer House Hotel, a popular tourist destination that is rumored to be haunted by numerous spirits. Built in the late 19th century, the hotel has a rich history and has been visited by many famous guests, such as gangster John Dillinger.
As soon as the team arrives, they are met with a sense of unease and the feeling of being watched. They begin their investigation by speaking with the hotel's owners and staff, who recount numerous paranormal experiences that they have had over the years. One employee even claims to have seen a full-bodied apparition of a young girl in the hallway outside her room.
To start their investigation, Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, and Nick Groff split up to explore different areas of the hotel. Zak begins his investigation in the basement, which is said to be a hotbed of paranormal activity. He immediately feels a presence and begins to communicate with the spirits using an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recorder. He captures several disturbing voices, including one that seems to be saying "get out" repeatedly.
Meanwhile, Aaron heads up to the third floor, which is known for its creepy vibe and strange noises. He sets up a static camera and begins to ask questions, hoping to capture some evidence of paranormal activity. As he is speaking, he hears a loud bang and quickly goes to investigate. He doesn't find anything out of the ordinary, but the camera captures a shadowy figure walking by in the hallway.
Nick is tasked with investigating the hotel's famous Room 17, which is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young boy named Raymond. The story goes that Raymond died in the room after falling down the stairs and hitting his head. Nick sets up an EMF (Electromagnetic Field) meter and a camera and begins to ask questions. To his surprise, he captures an EVP of a child's voice saying "hello" in response to his question.
As the night progresses, the team experiences more and more paranormal activity. They hear unexplained footsteps, see shadowy figures, and capture numerous EVPs. At one point, Zak even becomes possessed by a spirit and begins to act out of character.
Throughout the investigation, the team uses a variety of tools and techniques to try to communicate with the spirits. They use EVP recorders, EMF meters, and a spirit box, which scans radio frequencies for voices from the beyond. They also perform a séance in Room 17, hoping to make contact with Raymond.
In the end, the team captures some compelling evidence that seems to confirm the hotel's haunted reputation. The owners and staff are grateful for their investigation and hope that it will encourage more people to visit the hotel and experience its paranormal activity for themselves. The Palmer House Hotel remains a popular destination for ghost hunters and paranormal enthusiasts alike, and its reputation as one of the most haunted places in the world only continues to grow.
