Ep 24. New Orleans

In this episode of Ghost Adventures, the team travels to the famously haunted city of New Orleans to investigate some of its most haunted locations. The episode begins with an interview with a local psychic, who explains that the city's history of voodoo and black magic has left behind a powerful energy that attracts ghosts and other entities.

The team's first stop is the legendary LaLaurie Mansion, which was once home to socialite Delphine LaLaurie. Legend has it that LaLaurie tortured and killed slaves in the attic of the mansion, and the team hopes to make contact with the many spirits that are said to still haunt the property. They quickly discover that the mansion is indeed a hotbed of paranormal activity, with EMF spikes and strange noises coming from all directions.

Next up is the historic Bourbon Orleans Hotel, which is said to be home to the ghosts of soldiers who died during the Civil War. The team sets up their equipment in the hotel's ballroom, where they attempt to communicate with the soldiers through EVP sessions. But it quickly becomes clear that there are other entities at work in the hotel, as the team experiences intense feelings of unease and fear.

The team also visits a local voodoo museum, where they learn about the history of voodoo in New Orleans and the various spells and curses that have been cast over the years. They hope that this knowledge will help them understand the energy that permeates the city and allow them to better communicate with the spirits they encounter.

One of the most chilling locations the team visits is the Old U.S. Mint, which is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl who died on the property. The team sets up their equipment in the mint's basement, which is said to be the most haunted area of the building, and begins their investigation. They quickly discover that the girl's spirit is indeed present, and they attempt to comfort her and help her move on to the next realm.

Finally, the team visits St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, which is said to be the final resting place of the voodoo queen Marie Laveau. They explore the cemetery at night, looking for signs of Laveau's spirit and other entities that may be present. What they discover is nothing short of astonishing, as they capture multiple EVPs and other evidence of paranormal activity.

Throughout the episode, the team faces some of the most intense and disturbing activity they have ever encountered. But they remain determined and focused, using their skills and knowledge to try to understand the mysteries of New Orleans' haunted past. As always, they approach their investigation with respect and reverence for the spirits they encounter, and they hope to help these lost souls find peace and closure.
