Zak Bagans and his team of paranormal investigators set out to explore the Westerfeld House, a historical landmark in San Francisco believed to be haunted by the spirits of its former residents. As they enter the home, dark shadows loom over them, and an eerie feeling takes hold.
The Westerfeld House was built in 1889 by William Westerfeld, a wealthy German immigrant. It was originally a lavish mansion with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a ballroom, and a stable. However, as Zak and his team investigate, they discover a darker history behind the house.
During the early 1900s, the Westerfeld House became a popular destination for Bohemian artists and writers. It was said that they would hold wild parties and engage in debauchery, leading to rumors of occult activities. Additionally, the home was later used as a brothel during the 1940s and 1950s, and it is believed that several illegal abortions may have been performed on the property.
As Zak and his team begin their investigation, strange noises and unexplained activity start to occur. They hear footsteps, doors opening and closing on their own, and disembodied voices whispering their names. They also capture several EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) that seem to indicate a residual energy of fear and pain.
The team sets up their equipment and split up to cover all parts of the property. Zak and Aaron visit the ballroom, which is said to be a particularly active area of the house. Using a spirit box, they communicate with a male spirit who seems to be attached to the room. He claims to have been a partygoer in the early 1900s and is unable to leave the house.
Meanwhile, Jay and Billy investigate the basement, which used to be a speakeasy during Prohibition. They capture a shadow figure on their camera and hear strange noises coming from the walls. They also find evidence of a possible murder on the property, which adds to the already sinister atmosphere of the house.
As the investigation goes on, the team becomes more convinced that the Westerfeld House is indeed haunted. They capture a variety of compelling evidence, including EVPs, shadow figures, and unexplained noises. They also experience physical sensations, such as feeling cold spots and being touched by unseen hands.
In the end, Zak and his team conclude that the Westerfeld House is one of the most haunted places they have ever investigated. The spirits of its past residents seem to be stuck in a perpetual state of unrest, and the energy of the house is heavy and oppressive. As they leave the property, the team can't help but wonder how many more secrets the Westerfeld House is hiding.
