The iconic RMS Titanic is possibly one of the most famous ships in history. The story of how it sank on its maiden voyage has captivated people's imaginations for over a century, and now it lies at the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean. But what if there was a way to get a sense of what it was like to be aboard the great ship? That's where the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri comes in.
For this week's Ghost Adventures episode, Zak Bagans and the team are investigating the Titanic Museum after reports of paranormal activity. Throughout the episode, they interview staff members who claim to have seen strange things, including unexplained shadows and the feeling of being watched. One employee even claims to have seen the ghostly figure of a man in his office, who disappeared when he turned on the light.
The museum is home to a replica of the grand staircase from the Titanic, which was famously used in James Cameron's 1997 film. Zak and the team set up their equipment there, as well as in other areas of the museum where activity has been reported. One interesting piece of equipment they use is a "Tesla coil," which sends electric currents through the air. The theory behind this is that spirits can use the energy to manifest themselves.
During their investigation, the team experiences several significant moments. At one point, they hear what sounds like footsteps in an area where no one is supposed to be. Later, they capture an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) which seems to say "help me." In another part of the museum, they set up a device that measures temperature fluctuations. They notice that the temperature in the room drops several degrees in a matter of seconds, which could be a sign of paranormal activity.
One of the most interesting parts of the investigation is when Zak has a personal experience. He claims to feel an energy moving through him, and even grabs his camera and starts taking photos. When they review the photos later, they notice what looks like a bright light moving across the frame. Zak is convinced that this was a paranormal experience, and he seems genuinely affected by it.
Throughout the episode, the team also delves into the history of the Titanic. They talk with experts about the ship's fateful voyage and the hundreds of people who lost their lives. They also learn about the artifacts that are on display at the museum, which were recovered from the wreckage on the ocean floor. Zak makes a point of expressing his respect for the victims of the disaster, and seems to approach the investigation with a sense of reverence.
As always, the episode is full of suspenseful moments, from unexplained noises to sudden temperature drops. The crew also uses some new techniques, such as the Tesla coil, to try to capture paranormal activity. Overall, the episode offers an intriguing look into the world of the Titanic Museum, and the ghostly activity that may reside there. Fans of Ghost Adventures will not want to miss this one!
