Ep 9. Loftus Hall

Loftus Hall is the ninth episode of the twelfth season of the American paranormal television series, Ghost Adventures. In this episode, the team visits Ireland's most haunted house, the Loftus Hall. The hall was built in the late 19th century atop the remains of the Redmond ancestral home which was destroyed in a fire. The mansion has a history of death, tragedy, and unearthly occurrences.

The Ghost Adventures team comprising Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley, and Billy Tolley sets out to explore the mansion and its dark past. The episode starts with an overview of the history of Loftus Hall, including the legend of the mysterious Lady Anne who is said to haunt the house. According to the legend, a stranger arrived at the mansion in a stormy night seeking shelter. The daughter of the house, Lady Anne, fell in love with the stranger. During a card game, Lady Anne dropped her card and when she bent down to retrieve it, she saw that the stranger had cloven feet instead of human ones. She screamed, and the stranger vanished, leaving her in shock for the rest of her life. Lady Anne died a few years later, and since then, her ghost is said to haunt the mansion.

The team then meets Carina, the caretaker of Loftus Hall. She shows them around and tells them about the strange occurrences that have been witnessed in the mansion. The team notices that the mansion is full of natural light, which can make it harder to capture paranormal activity on camera, but they remain determined to conduct a thorough investigation.

The first investigation takes place in the Tapestry room, where the team tries to make contact with Lady Anne. As Zak and Aaron try to provoke her, they hear unexplained noises. The team then moves on to the chapel, where they perform an experimental technique called the Estes method, which involves using a spirit box which scans radio waves quickly, while earphones block out any background noise. This method is supposed to allow the spirits to communicate with the team through the device. During this session, the team hears a voice that they believe is Lady Anne's.

The next investigation takes place in the long gallery, where Lady Anne is said to have been seen walking aimlessly. During this investigation, the team hears footsteps and doors opening and closing. They also notice sudden changes in temperature, which could be signs of paranormal activity.

The team then investigates the Good Room, where the current owner of the mansion, Aidan, had a paranormal experience when staying in the room. The team hears strange noises and even sees a shadow figure moving across the room.

The final investigation takes place in the basement, where the team discovers a hidden room. This room is said to have been used to hold prisoners during the Napoleonic Wars. During this investigation, the team hears unexplained growls and feels strange sensations, leading them to believe that the room is extremely active.

In the end, the team has gathered a lot of evidence of paranormal activity in Loftus Hall. They believe that Lady Anne is indeed haunting the mansion, along with other entities. They conclude that the mansion is one of the most haunted places they have ever investigated and that it is an important place to preserve paranormal history.
