Ep 13. Ghost Adventures: Lava Hot Springs Inn
Ghost Adventures is an American paranormal television series on the Travel Channel. In season 10 episode 13, the team travels to a small town in Idaho to investigate the Lava Hot Springs Inn. This historic location has been open since 1924 and has a history of mysterious deaths, unexplained sightings and paranormal activity.
As the team arrives at the inn, they begin their investigation by interviewing the staff and guests who have experienced paranormal activity. One guest tells a story of seeing the apparition of a young girl standing at the end of her bed. Another guest describes hearing strange noises and feeling intense energy in their room.
The team then begins their lockdown, starting in the basement where they immediately feel a heavy energy. While using the spirit box, they hear the name "Mary" multiple times, leading them to believe this may be the ghost of a former employee. As they move to the main floor, the team experiences a series of strange events, including doors slamming shut and unexplained footsteps.
Zak, the team leader, decides to investigate the third floor alone and has a terrifying encounter. He hears a loud banging noise and feels something grab his leg, causing him to run out of the room in fear.
Throughout the investigation, the team uses a variety of equipment including thermal imaging cameras, digital recorders, and motion sensors. They also use a device called the Ovilus, which is said to convert environmental readings into words.
In one room, they capture evidence of an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) saying, "get out". They also capture a shadow figure on camera and a thermal imaging camera picks up a cold spot in the shape of a person.
As the lockdown comes to an end, the team is left with more questions than answers. The evidence they captured leaves them convinced that the Lava Hot Springs Inn is indeed haunted and the spirits that reside there are not happy with their presence.
Overall, this episode of Ghost Adventures takes viewers on a thrilling and suspenseful investigation of a haunted location with a long history and many mysteries waiting to be uncovered.
