Ep 4. Dumped

In Getting On season 1 episode 4, titled "Dumped," tensions escalate in the Billy Barnes Extended Care Unit as the staff deal with a new admission and a lack of staff. Dr. James seeks the help of Dr. Patsy De La Serda, head of Obstetrics, to perform a gynecological exam on a patient, but Patsy insists on accompanying his dying patient to her final moments instead. Meanwhile, Nurse DiDi struggles to care for an unresponsive patient without the assistance of her usual co-worker, and Nurse Dawn becomes jealous when she sees Dr. James flirting with Patsy. As the day progresses, the staff's personal and professional lives begin to unravel, leading to an emotional breakdown for one of the nurses.
